Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors provides leadership and guidance to keep the organization focused, mission-driven, and moving forward. The members assist with decision-making, oversee programs and finances, and help to ensure that the organization operates with integrity and purpose. Together, they help keep the organization grounded, aligned, and effective in serving others.

Pat Bach
Dr. Patricia Bach

Pat brings a genuine servant’s heart to the mission of The Bridge Relationship Center, along with a rich and varied professional background that strengthens our work. As a clinical psychologist in private practice, she helps people enhance their quality of life and relationships by blending mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Her expertise spans clinical and neuropsychology, behavioral medicine, geriatrics, family counseling, and overall health and wellness.


For over 13 years, Pat has served her community as a law enforcement chaplain, and since 2019 she’s offered resilience support to physicians—highlighting her deep commitment to those on the front lines. She believes in the power of self-care, healthy relationships, and family harmony for all.  A member of the American Psychological Association and the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Pat also co-leads the Officer Safety and Organizational Wellness Mental Health work group. With 30 years of experience presenting at national conferences and conducting research on wellness for both doctors and law enforcement officers, she’s a valuable voice in her field.

Marcus Bowen
Marcus Bowen

Marcus has been a dedicated leader in the relationship space for over a decade, using his gifts to help others experience meaningful connection and lasting love. He currently serves as a Senior Director at XO Marriage in Southlake, Texas, where he’s spent the past 11 years producing dynamic relationship-focused podcasts, YouTube content, and overseeing all logistics and operations for conferences and live events across the country.

 

With a passion for creating environments where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to pursue healthy relationships, Marcus brings both heart and excellence to every experience he curates. Beyond XO, he has over 15 years of experience leading community groups within the local church, and is especially passionate about discipling men who are committed to living boldly for Jesus.  A proud native Texan, Marcus is an avid traveler, museum enthusiast, and self-proclaimed U.S. presidential historian who never passes up a good story or a new adventure.

John Oldham
John Oldham

As Managing Director, John oversees the day-to-day operations at The Bridge Relationship Center. After more than 28 years in policing, he retired early to begin building a team of gifted advisors and leaders to help launch the organization. At The Bridge, he leads marriage and relationship education programs, coordinates events and groups, and provides training and consulting in servant leadership.

Though retired from law enforcement, John remains actively involved in the profession.  He serves through the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) as a member of the Police Professional Standards, Ethics, and Image Committee, as a member of the Officer Safety and Organizational Wellness Section, and as a member of the Law Enforcement Information Technology Section.  He also serves with the First Responder Project and is a volunteer with WinShape Marriage.    

Steph Oldham
Steph Oldham

Steph has been serving couples alongside her husband (John) since 2012 through mentoring, coaching, small group leadership, and retreat ministry. Their journey has included involvement with a variety of programs focused on strengthening marriages and families. In late 2022, Steph and John began developing The Bridge in response to a calling they felt from the Lord. While Steph continues to work in the private sector, she dedicates much of her free time to shaping transformative experiences through The Bridge’s events and programming.​

In addition to her work with The Bridge, Steph remains actively involved in other marriage ministries, women's ministry, and first responder support programs centered around relationship health and family dynamics. Steph also treasures living close to her son, daughter-in-love, and young grandson—who brings constant joy to her heart.

Jessica and Jason Huffman

Pastors Jason and Jessica Huffman lead Pneuma Life Church in Jacksonville, Florida, bringing over 50 years of combined ministry experience to their passionate service to the Lord and the local church. Married for more than 20 years, they are equally devoted to their family, including their two wonderful young adults, Gabe and Zoe.

​

Their heart is to build a thriving, Spirit-filled community of Jesus followers—united in love, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and equipped to fulfill God’s purposes.

Katie and David Reid
Katie and David Reid

David and Katie Reid have spent 30 years investing in their marriage and in the relationships of others. Their passion began with the impact of premarital counseling at Katie’s home church and has grown into a lifelong ministry to couples.  â€‹After several years of marriage, they moved to Texas where David earned a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. Following the birth of their first child, they returned to Georgia, where David planted and pastored Peachtree Community Church for ten years. Katie served in hospitality and led the Women’s Ministry for five years.  ​Both have pursued advanced ministry education and remain active in serving others. They have three children: Abbie (in Tennessee), Ben (a sophomore at the University of Georgia), and Rosie (a seventh grader). David now leads Industrial Engineers at the Chick-fil-A Support Center, and Katie offers Christ-centered counseling through HeartSpring for Women.

​They continue to pour into marriages through counseling and as a host couple for WinShape Marriage sailing adventures. They also serve as co-presidents of the board for TeamMates in Ministry, which refreshes pastors and missionaries through hospitality and counseling.

Theta and Terry Shank
Theta and Terry Shank

Terry and Theta met as teenagers in Springdale, Arkansas, and married in 1978. Terry’s Computer Science degree and career with Amoco Corporation took them through Arkansas, Oklahoma, Trinidad and Tobago, Texas, South Carolina, and Georgia. While raising their three children—Annie, Jason, and Maggie—Theta led Precept Upon Precept Bible studies and Ladies’ Leadership Trainings, and Terry served as a deacon or elder in every church they joined. He currently serves as an elder at Cornerstone Church in Rome, Georgia, and retired from Amoco in 2000.

In 2003, they came out of retirement to help open WinShape Retreat in Rome, Georgia, where they served in various roles—including over a decade supporting crisis marriages through pastoral hosting. Both retired from the WinShape Foundation in August 2023. Today, Terry is a Certified Professional Life Coach, and Theta, known as The OPEN Door Consultant, teaches grace-based hospitality. They continue to lead the marriage ministry at their local church and enjoy time with their six grandchildren (ages 7–18) and married children.
